This is a second floor flat, and there are stairs, but don't let that stop you from staying here. There is plenty of room in the flat, and we found all the utensils and appliances we needed to fix ourselves meals. Having a washer and dryer on site was a bonus I took advantage of. The self check in was great, no worry about a specific arrival time. I highly recommend Heather's place for your Memphis visit.

Incredible value. Explore Memphis or relax. It is perfect for both! Heather has a very roomy place, we went there for a sisters retreat and we had so much room, and perfect place to play games. If you have issues going up stairs, you may have a little challenge, seeing your staying upstairs. We had everything we needed.
Kitchen was nicely stocked as far as pans and dishes. Felt very safe in the area. We enjoyed our visit. The place is clean and spacious, and we loved having coffee and tea each morning. The decor was super neat and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed perusing through the variety of book titles and records, and even spent some time putting together a jigsaw puzzle. The house was located in the perfect spot with easy access to numerous attractions zoo, Civil Rights museum, Mud Island, and Bass Pro pyramid, not to mention lots of yummy restaurants.
Her thoughtfulness was much appreciated for our Labor Day weekend getaway! Easy and convenient, location is not too far from downtown Memphis, would stay again! Quick and prompt responses as we needed. Sometimes you get what you pay for. This is one of those times. From the top: 1. Street is full of potholes, bars on lots of windows and doors, creepy roamers. Paving stones are uneven and wobbly. Linens were clean and fresh, no issues there. Basic narrow tub like every other tub installed in the 50s and 60s. Basic showerhead, not even a curved curtainrod. Oh, and the shower curtain overlaps into the window, so the neighbors can see through those thin curtains right into the shower when the lights are on at night.
Bonus: you can brush your teeth while sitting on the throne. Great place for a quick overnight stay. The beds weren't the most comfortable and the curtains didn't quite cover the windows in the bedroom but it wasn't a huge deal. Would for sure stay again. Ken was extremely quick to respond. This 1 bedroom apartment in Memphis was great.
Very clean and Ken was responsive. I will definitely being staying here again when I come back in town for business. Sara even stocked the house w eggs, milk, bread and cereal. Kudos for an excellent Airbnb experience!

This home had everything needed to make my visit to Memphis extra special. Every detail is welcoming. The beds were comfortable and they even provide you breakfast! Short drive to Beale St. My favorite part of this place was the front porch where I could sit in the am with a cup of coffee and relax. This is a great location and a beautiful, clean and organized little house. It was the perfect spot for a weekend family get together. The space was centrally located , with plenty of space, and convenient to all the sites. The street was quiet, the house was very clean, and Sara was a wonderful host.
We'd stay here again when back in Memphis.

Sara's home way beautiful and cozy. She provided all of the necessities and even provided bread, milk, and eggs for breakfast. She was always prompt with her responses to my questions and was very helpful. The neighborhood was quiet and very close to everything we needed. We will definitely book with Sara again in the future. They are very thoughtful and considerate, and I would have loved to have stayed longer. Definitely one to visit again!
Had such a lovely time staying with Taryn. I stayed in her single room, but it's really spacious, much bigger than it looks in the picture. Her home is beautiful and she couldn't have been more welcoming. Taryn had loads of suggestions for places to see, sometimes texting me through the day when she thought of something I'd like. She made fabulous biscuits for my breakfast that I would like the recipe for please Taryn This was the perfect for me, travelling alone. Taryn was a great host - she was warm and thoughtful. There were several touches that make you feel welcomed.
Also, the location was great. Well situated in a nice area for neighborhood walks among historic homes. I particularly enjoyed a 15 minute walk past Memphis Zoo for breakfast.

The room was clean and well furnished. Definitely a recommend. Taryn was an excellent host, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a nice, cozy place to stay. Parking was super easy, and her house is conveniently located close to the medical center great for UTHSC interviewees. Taryn and her house were so awesome! I've been telling everyone I run into about it haha. I got to the house around 9pm, after a really long drive, and Taryn is there with keys and dinner recommendations ready she knew a lot about cool places to eat, see live music, etc , and in addition, there is a delicious chocolate chip cookie wrapped on a plate in my room.
The house and room was clean and beautiful, in a really pretty neighborhood. Bed was really comfortable, and it was a quiet place to sleep.

In the morning, with about twenty minutes notice, Taryn had coffee, and an amazing breakfast featuring her homemade biscuits. I wish I could have stayed longer, Taryn was so nice and welcoming! Highly recommend to anybody!! Taryn is a welcoming and gracious host full of great stories. Her enthusiasm for Memphis is infectious! I enjoyed my stay very much.
The room was just as described with many little extras - lots of pillows and towels, a fresh cookie and a couple of little oranges each night.
