What a great location! And Dina and her Uncle were so hospitable! Check-in was super easy and the place was fantastic. Very comfortable and quite quiet for being in the heart of Mohandeesen. Loved it! And highly recommend! It is small but clean and bright and has a very large terrace which is a fun way to enjoy the sights and sounds of the area. Very cute and clean apartment in a nice and safe neighborood. My mum stayed there alone and had no problem at all travelling and buying groceries even late at night. There's everything you need in the studio and Nora is super nice and was very helpful with everything.
I definitely recommend this place for a stay in Cairo :. Nora's Communication, prior and during our stay was just exceptional; Extremely kind and smiley, accurate and up to date information. Address sent in Arab language for taxi, 24h guard in building to bring us up to the appartment even late at night.

Cairenes are extremly friendly and welcoming. Very highly recommended for the true local experience when visiting Egypt's capital. Beautiful view, quiet street close to major thoroughfare, so transportation is easy. We loved our stay here. It was very spacious and well located, close to restaurants and cafes but secluded enough that we got consistently good sleep. The apartment was nice and well-equipped, but could use some updating in terms of furniture some was rather uncomfortable , as well as some improvement to the bathrooms due to the hot water sink faucet leaking throughout our stay, the shower was only lukewarm. Finally, Dina was incredibly easy to communicate with. Thank you for everything, Dina!

I highly recommend you to stay there. The apartment is fully equipped, well located, there lots of different places very close where you can find anything to eat. Our host Dina is so kind, and in spite of she was abroad, she was always there whataspp to help us with everything.

This place is highly recommended. If I come back to Cairo I will stay in this place again. The apartment is very nice and spacious and the amenities listed all work as expected. Alles wichtige ist schnell mit dem Taxi zu erreichen, es ist so eine spannende Stadt mit den Widersprüchen und Spannungen einer Megacity. This beautiful appartment, with lovely decorations in faraonic style, is a supreme oppurtunity to live close to normal egyptian life, and to have a wonderful place to rest when the crowded city becomes overwhelming.
Its very easy to take taxi or bus just outside the house, and , to the central parts of Cairo and buss directly to airport. If you want to study arabic, the ILI, which i recommend highly, is 4 minutes walk from the appartment. This apartment is amazing! It has so much lovely natural light! For a great price you get a large well equipped apartment just steps from ILI. There are huge windows and very fun kitsch-cute pharaonic theme decorating throughout the apartment. The apartment is also super clean and well maintained.
Bassem, the property manager, lives next door and is so helpful and kind. He was willing to help us with Arabic and we practiced English with him as well. He is friendly and a lot of fun too. My husband and I really enjoyed getting to know him.
Also, the cleaning lady Amal and her family are the best and will take good care of you. Although you are on fairly busy Sudan st. There is really good insulation so you will not hear much in your bedroom. Please be aware of would be that there is no elevator. If you have mobility challenges this is not the apartment for you. Please be aware the only internet availableat this house is mobile data.
You must get an Egyptian SIM card. There is no line working to the house.

There is no shower curtain but this is normal for Egypt. There is a shower head and bathtub. The doorbell does not work. Getting deliveries to the house can be slightly annoying so - I put a sticker on the broken bell with my phone number.
